Your starting point decides if the drive is worth it. From Kitchener, Grand River is the closest room of the lot, at 28 km. Guelph puts it second, 22 km against 19 for Mohawk. Either way, phone 519-846-2022 before you leave the driveway.

From Campbellville itself, Mohawk stays the nearer room. Grand River suits a summer race night or a change of scenery. It does not suit anyone hunting for live table games.

Slots and electronic table games make up the floor here. Blackjack, roulette, baccarat and sic bo all run on screens. No live table games are listed, and there is no poker room. Drive out hoping for a dealer and you will come home without one. Mohawk fills that gap, with its poker room open Thursday to Sunday, noon to 4 a.m.
